| Job Description: |
- Define the goals of the system and devise flow charts and diagrams describing logical operational steps of programs.
- Write technical procedures and documentation for the applications including operations, user guide, standard operating procedures etc
- Advise staff on methods of accessing information and to provide in-house training for staff in the use of MIS systems and other computerized systems as appropriate
- Develop new systems to respond to the changing needs of the entity
- Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to a user environment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements
- Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues and provide first level support and troubleshooting
- Produce technical documentation for new and existing applications
- Conduct the design phase of any new IT software development projects for in-house developments or if a plan is set up to procure an off the shelf application, conduct a comprehensive environment sizing
- Serve as a liaison and facilitator between all business units to assist in addressing and resolving Information flow issues
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
- Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures
- Work closely with Internal Audit Manager to achieve the above
Note:Traveling to Sheikhupura will be required at least once a month. |
