| Job Description: |
- Manages accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and project accounting; ensures accuracy and timeliness. Develops, implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to guidelines.
- Manages monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information; ensure accuracy of financial statements
- Provides accounting assistance to managers and operations staff; responds to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs.
- Acts as a liaison between the organization & the external auditors to meet information needs and to ensure that proper information is maintained for historical purposes.
- Prepares and recommends operating and personnel budgets for approval. Monitors spending for adherence to budget, recommends variances as necessary.
- Constantly update tracking sheets for revenue
- Balance bank and company accounts
- Collect financial records and reports of various departments
- Monitor and manage clients’ accounts
- Inspect balance sheet and correct errors where available
- Maintain accounting standards and style of the company
- Submit records of accounts reconciliations to management as stipulated
- Any other task assigned by the Finance Manager.
