Job Description:

The Senior Technical Officer Active Case Fining (ACF) will assist the Technical Advisor ACF in managing technical aspects of the mobile vans equipped with digital x-ray and Xpert machines in accordance with the ACF guidelines. The mobile vans are used in outreach chest camps in order to provide quality screening and diagnostic services to the communities with limited or no access to TB healthcare facilities.

Essential Responsibilities

  • In coordination with the Technical Advisor ACF, developing/updating operational guidelines and other technical material related to ACF component
  • Assist in developing/updating recording and reporting and field monitoring tools
  • Provide technical guidance and capacity building to the team members in planning, implementation, monitoring and other relevant areas
  • Develop quality assurance guidelines/checklists in coordination with Technical Adviser ACF
  • Coordinate with SRs for finalization of mobile movement plans and timely submission of plan to PR unit
  • Ensure that mobile screening camps are organized as per the site selection criteria 
  • In consultation with Technical Advisor ACF, do the data analysis of ACF Component and identify the issue in low performing districts 
  • Make periodic field visits to assess the quality and performance of the camps and make recommendations to Technical Advisor ACF for the improvement
  • Ensure timely collection and compilation of required data for reporting of ACF component
  • Keep record of stock including cartridges, butter papers, CAD4TB licenses, prepare procurement plan and distribution plan as we goods distribution SOPs.
  • Ensure timely supply of above mentioned items to van staff
  • Organize ACF staff review meetings of the field staff and submit the meeting report to PR unit
  • Ensure that the data entry of chest camps done regularly.
  • Prepare and update program presentations, briefs and other technical documents
  • Ensure that the staff will properly take infection prevention measures by using of PPEs during chest camps
  • Ensure implementation of Company policies and procedures at all levels; and follow safety and security protocols at all times
  • Any other task assigned by the supervisor

Accountability

Reports Directly To: Technical Advisor ACF

Works Directly With: PR unit and Van staff

Minimum Qualification & Transferable Skills

  • Master’s in public health with at least three years’ experience in TB Program
  • Experience of working in public health is highly desirable
  • Experience in the planning and facilitation of trainings, and excellent communication and writing skills required.
