Job Description:

General Accountability:

The Systems Analyst reports to the Manager, Corporate Application Services (CAS) and will be responsible for maintaining and supporting Corporate Applications, analyzing reported problems, proposing and implementing solutions to the reported problems, advising software and systems, and coordinating the problem solving process and ensuring that the business standards and requirements are met. The Systems Analyst should be familiar with multiple approaches to solving a problem and will be asked to choose the most appropriate solution. Implementing and upgrading the existing solutions as may be applicable from time to time, and using programming knowledge to write new solutions as needed will be part of the duties.

Specific Accountabilities

The successful candidate will be inducted as a member of CAS team and will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, design and implementation of corporate application systems. The applications are in use by various teams within Acrodex to execute organization’s day-to-day business processes that include Sales, Purchasing, warehouse, Accounting, Service Management, Ecommerce sites, CRM, SharePoint and more.

1.       As a member of CAS team the new member will be mainly responsible for designing Reports using and integrating data from various SQL systems and user-created Excel and Access sources as per business processes.

2.       Maintain various enterprise corporate application systems.  This will involve admin tasks, monitoring, testing and documentation. (ERP, Service Management Systems, Microsoft CRM Dynamics, Ecommerce Applications, SharePoint and a few internally developed applications). Initial training will be provided to the specific systems as may be assigned to the new member.

3.       Provides requirement analysis and time/resource estimates for assigned activities.

4.       Prepares and executes unit and system tests as part of proactive maintenance practice.

5.       Demonstrating technical competence to provide maintenance solutions and suggest customizations.

Qualifications (Education/Experience/Skills & Abilities)

·         Degree in Computer Science OR an Equivalent Program

·         Essential Expertise:   

o    SQL Server Programming Language - Stored Procedures

o    Reporting Engines - Crystal Reports and SSRS Reports

o    Excel – Advanced Skills – like Pivot Tables, VLooKUps, Formulas, VBA etc.

o    MS CRM Dynamics

·         Optional Expertise:  SharePoint, Programming Techniques, Experience in an ERP system

·         Minimum 5+ years IT experience

·         Minimum 2+ years in Reporting and Analysis Environment

·         Strong communication and user-interaction skills, both written and verbal.

·         Understanding of business practices and project management methodology.

Job Timings : 9pm - 6 am (Night Shift)
