The incumbent is responsible for assessing actions to be taken in each case and recommending and initiating legal actions. The incumbent performs field work to make collections, including the seizure and sale of unsecured personal property to settle accounts.
1. Ensure that collection targets are met as per the collection strategy.
2. Maintain and record all settlement agreements made with the customers. 3. Ensure daily follow-up from clients and maintains its log.
4. Ensure strong liaison with Branch Manager and Loan Officers for prompt recoveries. 5. Undertake regular and frequent calls, site visits, follow-ups to implement remedial strategies andaction plans agreed with Team Lead
6. Initiate demand and reminding letters to all defaulting customers and review all credit files for proper documentation and monitoring.
7. Follow up on major debtors accounts assigned to ensure recoveries through calls, demand notices orany other appropriate means.
8. Monitors Recovery Agents to ensure accounts assigned to them are fully recovered. 9. Prompt identification of unauthorized balances and follow up with branches on early warning andremedial action on newly created PDOs in the branch.
10. Monitoring and recovering of PDO’s /Expired CMB loans in the branches.
11. Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Regional Head of Recovery

13. Ensure that a culture of risk and compliance management is implemented, and institute performancemeasures tied to individual risk and compliance responsibilities
14. Responsible for managing compliance risk ‘inherent’ in their day-to-day activities, processes, and systems for which you are accountable. This includes the responsibility of business lines to own, develop, and update systems, policies, processes, and procedures to manage compliance risk inherent in their day-to-day activities.
