Job Description:

The School Principal is responsible for providing visionary leadership, academic excellence, and effective management to ensure high-quality education in alignment with READ Foundation’s mission and values. The role involves overseeing all aspects of school operations, including academics, staff development, student affairs, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Leadership:

  • Ensure the implementation of READ Foundation’s curriculum and pedagogical strategies.
  • Monitor and enhance student learning outcomes through effective assessments and interventions.
  • Promote a strong culture of Tarbiyah and ethical values in the school environment.
  • Encourage innovative teaching methodologies, including the use of technology in classrooms.

2. Staff Development & Management:

  • Recruit, train, and retain qualified teaching and administrative staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Organize professional development programs to enhance teachers’ skills.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment for staff.

3. School Administration & Operations:

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the school in line with READ Foundation policies.
  • Develop and manage the school’s budget effectively.
  • Maintain discipline, safety, and security measures for students and staff.
  • Oversee admissions, student records, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

4. Student Development & Well-being:

  •  Promote a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  •  Encourage student participation in co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
  •  Implement student support systems, including counseling and career guidance.
  •  Address student behavioral and academic challenges proactively.

5. Community Engagement & Stakeholder Relations:

  • Build strong relationships with parents, local communities, and education stakeholders.
  • Organize parent-teacher meetings and communicate school progress effectively.
  • Foster partnerships with external organizations for school development.
  • Promote the school’s reputation and ensure increased enrollments.

6. Key Competencies & Skills:

  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
